From Los Angeles Airport:
Approximate driving time 6 to 7 hours
Take the 405 Freeway North to Ventura Freeway West, (Hwy 101) Continue on Hwy 101 until you reach San Luis Obispo, (approximately four hour drive.) In San Luis Obispo take the Morro Bay Exit North – Highway 1 Continue north on Hwy 1, passing San Simeon (Hearst Castle), Ragged Point, and other small towns. Post Ranch is approximately one hour north of Ragged Point. Continue on Hwy 1 into Big Sur. Once past Nepenthe Restaurant, look for a left turning lane. Turn left into the entrance of Post Ranch Inn
